We take the guesswork out of searching for candid and unrivaled hotel blogs, reviews, and the latest news, press releases and specials.

I’m Nicholas Kontis, the founder of Stellar World Hotels and I’ve spent my entire working career in the field of travel. I’ve been featured on radio, television, and podcasts and recently spoke at the Stay Boutique Hotel Conference.

Our luxe hotel writers are seasoned world travelers who combined have touched down on over 120 countries. They have inspected hundreds, perhaps thousands, of hotels worldwide. Many are award-winning professional travel journalists and members of the North American Travel Journalists Association (NATJA), the Society of American Travel Writers (SATW) and other professional groups.

They have spent years digging deep behind the scenes of destinations and pride themselves on unbiased hotel reviews. If a property does not meet our high standards–if it does not inspire our writers–then we don’t tell you about it.

Stellar World Hotels and its writers also seek out properties that tell a story. That may be a restaurant on run by a Michelin-starred or James Beard Award-winning chef. It may be halls that showcase world-class art, or installations by local artisans. It may be a site’s memorable architecture or its location in a neighborhood that reflects a storied past.

Our readers don’t put a lot of stock in Rodeo Drive brand names or shows of wealth, but they still want to live life to the fullest.
